who we are
...and how we became the Joneses!
We fell in love in high school, lifeguarding took on a whole new meaning of saving lives. ;) When you're sixteen and starting a new summer job, you don't expect to stumble upon your future and the person who molds the rest of your life. But, we did! At 19 we got married and had the most beautiful, joy-filled wedding in the small town we grew up, in Bear Valley Springs, California. Hunter joined the Coast Guard right before we married and our first duty station moved us to New Smyrna Beach, Florida! Our small two-story villa sat across the street from the beach and we fell in love with the east coast! After spending a year and a half in Florida, we were re-stationed in San Francisco, and after another year and a half we were transferred to Boston! Over the past four years we have gone from coast to coast to coast.
Like most of you, we found a huge love for traveling and the rush that comes with finding a new little piece of who your are in each new location and adventure. Unfortunately, traveling can be incredibly expensive, and we're broke newlyweds! However, our 2021 New Year's resolution was to travel more, and to do it affordably!

Over the last year, we've had some of the greatest adventures, found the cutest coffee shops, picnic spots, hikes, restaurants, vendors, lodging, and activities.
